With over 20 years' of leadership experience in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries, Bill leverages his deep understanding of the global healthcare environment to drive strategic business decisions, accelerate performance, and inspire operational growth. A graduate of Harvard Law School, Bill has served as Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Counsel for various Fortune 500 companies, honing his expertise with regulatory law, medical products, compliance and sales. Presently, Bill serves on the board of WINGS, the Medical Technology Angels, as well as several advisory board for local med-tech startups. He is a member of the company’s Board of Directors.

KIMBERLeY A. LOREAN, VP SaleS & strategic alliances

Kimberley has enjoyed proven success at launching products to market leadership positions in all surgical settings. She brings 20 years’ experience in sales development and business development management, having led pharmaceutical and medical device companies launch to multi-millions in annual sales. In addition to sales, Kimberley has expertise in training surgeons, nurses and sales teams in the medical application of the devices. Throughout her career, Kimberley has developed and led sales teams to achieving market leading sales positions and growth. 

JW Beard, MD, Founder

JW is a physician leader with over fifteen years’ experience with sedation capnography. As a practicing anesthesiologist, he founded Monitor Mask to reinvent standard respiratory devices for the procedural and safety requirements of modern practice. A graduate of Dartmouth, JW was selected to attend one of the most selective medical schools in the United States, UCSF, where he was also selected to undergo his residency in anesthesiology, JW later earned his MBA at the University of Tennessee. JW has led Monitor Mask from device design and production to FDA clearance, fundraising, global patent prosecution, team formation and sales. He continues to advise the company and is a valued member of the Board of Directors.

JOHN INMAN, ED. D., M.A., DDPE, VP OPERATIONS

John brings over 20 years of strategic management, business development, and consultative sales and marketing experience, having participated in eleven start-up enterprises, and 10 years leadership in connection with medical manufacturing, critical care sales and biotech distribution. His substantial organization and leadership development experience includes leader, coach, consultant, and trainer of high performance leaders, teams, and team members. John holds a bachelor degree in business management, a master of education in adult education and organization development, a master of arts in human and organization systems, and a doctorate in education leadership and change. He was recently published in OD Practitioner, the international publication of organizational development professionals. John lives with his wife and daughter near Seattle, Washington and enjoys walking, road biking, researching, and time with his family.

Tom Broetje, CONSULTING CFO

With three decades as a CFO and CPA, focusing on entrepreneurs and business founders, Tom is a seasoned financial professional who provides “been there” financial leadership. For the past 4 years, Tom has focused on business development in the Seattle area. He holds a accounting degree from the University of Washington, and is involved with Northshore Rotary, Seattle Executives, Northwest Entrepreneur Network and Cascadia Community College Foundation. When he is not working or volunteering, Tom enjoys traveling with his wife, playing golf and hiking.

KENNY BYRNE, CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER & HEAD OF INVESTOR RELATIONS

Kenny has a proven track record of innovation in connection with varied and ever-changing technological environments. Previously, as the original architect and CTO for what became a $70 million per year business, Kenny built an extraordinary engineering team amidst the fallout of the dot com crash. He also led several multi-party projects, turnarounds, built databases for Adobe, Microsoft, onhealth.com, Harrods of London, Fashionmall.com and more. As Head of Investor Relations, Kenny helps cultivate relationships within the investment community, educating and updating investors about the company. He has spent over 15 years in the early stage capitalization markets as an angel investor, executive, consultant and advisor. 

MARK A. STRMAC, EASTERN REGIONAL SALES DIRECTOR

Mark is a successful medical sales professional with over 25 years of experience in start-up and large device organizations specializing in the Anesthesiology market. His strategic experience is from key players like Medtronic, Covidien, and ConMed, selling in market segments like patient monitoring, airway management, surgical energy, MIS instrumentation and advanced wound care. Mark’s experience includes developing relationships with distribution partners along the East Coast and IDN networks, including government accounts. Mark lives with his wife Cathy in Bluffton, SC along with his Golden Retriever Ozzie and has 2 grown children. In his spare time, he enjoys fine wines, cooking and playing golf.

KEVIN BUSCHER, CENTRAL REGIONAL SALES DIRECTOR

With over 17 years of sales experience, Kevin’s strong leadership skills have led to a successful track record of over achieving results. Kevin provides broad, in-depth experience in management and team building, and has consistent outstanding record of exceeding personal and corporate sales objectives. Previously, he worked with start-up medical device lines promoting and marketing their surgical devices/products to key institutional/teaching hospitals in the Midwest. He contributed these skills to two start up corporations that were sold to Fortune 500 medical corporations.

TYLER MAYES, OPERATIONS MANAGER

Tyler Mayes oversees all Operation Manager responsibilities, managing relationships with production and shipping organizations, coordinating ordering and logistics, maintaining and preparing records for regulatory compliance, assisting with labeling requirements to address FDA and customer requirements and managing all aspects of quality assurance and control. Tyler is the primary customer service support liaison for the company. Previously, he served over 7 years in demanding positions of leadership with the United States Army. He earned his B.A. from Eastern Washington University, and recently joined the scrum alliance as a certified scrum master. Tyler lives with his wife Christina and two children. In his free time, he enjoys family hikes, brewing beer and reading.
